I grew up in a small town in upstate NY, just south of where I eventually got my BFA in furniture design from the School for American Craft at RIT. There’s not a lot to do in Rush, so I spent a lot of time in books and on creative pursuits — everything from stop-motion videos to weaving — which I’ll credit with leading me where I am today. I’ve always loved to build, and found design to be the perfect combination of analytical problem-solving and aesthetic creativity. Post-graduation, I worked in high-end fabrication for several years, before moving into a drafting role and engineering everything from wall paneling to 30-foot AV-integrated boardroom tables. These days, I’m living in LA, designing white-label products for a wide range of major retailers across the globe.
